Private Event - Revisiting Retreat

This Sunday afternoon zoom meeting is a private event hosted only for the ladies who joined us on our recent Sacred Sorrows retreat at the Jesuit Retreat Center. We'll spend a short amount of time checking in with each other about how things have been going for us since retreat - and then we'll listen to our own sister in sacred sorrow - Patty Reis - present a talk about the book we received on retreat: Winter of the Heart. (It would be helpful for you to read this short book before our meeting.)

We will be in awesome hands with Patty at the helm of our meeting. She has a certificate in Death and Grief Studies from Dr. Alan Wolfelt's Center for Loss and Life Transition in Ft. Collins, CO. She has completed David Kessler's Grief Educator training; and, she holds a certificate from H. Norman Wright in Crisis and Trauma Counseling. In addition to helping with the ministry team at her parish in Bakersfield, Patty facilitates grief support groups both in-person and online, and presents small group retreats. 

Sacred Sorrows is truly blessed that Patty will be giving us her time during our meeting to facilitate a discussion about this book. Thanks in advance Patty!
