About the Event
This 4-day, 3-night retreat is a continuation of the spiritual journey for grieving mothers who have lost a baby, son or daughter. The prerequisite for attendance on this annual retreat is past attendance at the Mother’s Love and Loss Retreat offered at the Jesuit Retreat Center in Los Altos, or at the Redemptorist Renewal Center in Tucson. Our Return & Renew Retreat: What Holds Us invites grieving mothers to gently explore the structures, spaces, and sacred connections that sustain us through seasons of sorrow and healing. Through prayer, scriptural reflection, creativity, community, and rest, attendees will be invited to consider the ways we are carried — by God, by love, by memory, by one another, and by the quiet practices that help us remain present to our lives.
